A Typical Session
At the Westoe Practice, South Shields a typical session with our Kinesiologist will last approx 1.5hrs and a detailed case history will be taken to help us fully understand your concerns, identify the underlying problems and the corrections required.
One or two treatments are often sufficient to achieve lasting relief from many conditions, although further treatments may sometimes be required.

A: Allergy testing with Kinesiology is a relaxing and non-invasive experience. You lie fully clothed on the couch and the practitioner tests various muscle strengths by applying pressure. A small amount of the substance, in a tiny vial, is placed near or on your body, and your body's response is monitored through muscle-testing. Imbalances will switch the muscle off, creating a weakness.
What to do about your results
- If your allergies are uncommon foods or substances, you may choose to avoid them.
- If your problem foods and substances are difficult to avoid Kinesiology can sometimes rectify the imbalance. Treating allergies with Kinesiology is usually straight forward, and effective.
